As you might expect, there’s an incredibly large number of dolphin-related sites to be found on the Internet. It looks like this website takes the biscuit though - it’s huge, and dolphin-wise it covers just about everything you can cover.

The four main sections are brimming with details, everything from dolphin anatomy and behaviour to the evolution of aquatic mammals in the first place. Find out about how dolphins swim, how they communicate, even how they avoid ‘the bends’. Especially worth a look is the behaviour section, which amongst other things addresses the controversial questions of dolphin intelligence.

Look up details of all the dolphin species and their close relatives, and you’ll find more than a couple of flimsy paragraphs - you get to browse a whole section. Pictures are spread through the text, but they can also be viewed all together in the vast gallery and impressive media library, along with movies and sound files. You’re spoilt for choice, so take a deep breath - you’ll be there for hours.
