The Somewhat Amusing World of Frogs

This may not be the most encyclopaedic zoological resource on the internet, but it is one of the quirkier ones. The Somewhat Amusing World of Frogs is basically a collection of information about frogs that the author, an Australian tax lecturer, finds fascinating. And the result is… well… more amusing than some of the other wildlife websites to be found out there.
The site couldn’t be described as over the top on graphics, and although it makes a refreshing break from the some of the annoying extremes of website design, a few extra pictures here and there wouldn’t have hurt. But don’t worry, the links section will take you to some other great frog sites, where any need for further visual stimulation can be met, and any knowledge gaps filled. The Froggy Page http://frog.simplenet.com/froggy/ has plenty to offer - it’s probably better to start here than at the Minnesota Pollution Agency’s ‘Live Deformed Frog Cam,’ to which I was, somewhat amusingly, the 2431286th visitor.
You’ll get more than just unusually interesting reading - the author gives us some valuable advice on how to live our lives too: “Never stick a tadpole up your nose.” Wise words indeed, and I shudder to think that this warning could come from personal experience.
Oh, and be sure to have your computer’s volume turned up when you arrive.
